 Team NEWS:

 IND Team News

With Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma out injured, Prithvi Shaw and Mayank Agarwal made their NZ vs IND ODI debuts for India last time out as they opened the batting together. It meant KL Rahul in the middle order, where his superb batting form continued, and the same top five could be retained. KL Rahul has been in good in recent times. Even though he failed in the second ODI, we recommend you to select in him your fantasy team, particularly if India bat first.

IND vs NZ Fantasy Team Guide:

 Team Guide:

 WK-

 -Lokesh Rahul

will bat at three down for IND. He is a top-class batsman who had been very impressive in his 31 matches ODI career at an average of 45.1 with strike rate near to 90. Performed really well in the last T20 series by scoring 50+ runs a couple of times. Best C VC choice in SL. Smashed 88(64)* runs in the first match but got out early in the last match. Expected to perform well in this match if IND wants to end the series at winning note.

-Tom Latham

will bat at three down. He is a decent pick in D11 as he had been impressive in this format. Played 97 ODI matches and scored at an average of 32.4 with help of 4 centuries too. Punt C VC choice. Played a good knock of 69 runs in the first match but got out at single-digit runs in the last match.

 Batsman-

-Virat Kohli

will bat at one down. He is an evergreen player who is currently no. 1 batsman in the world having Average of 59.6 from 247 ODI matches with SR nearing 100. Must have a pick in SL and default C VC too. Played very well in the last couple of ODI & T20 series. Played a good knock of 51 runs in first match but got out early in the last match. He has to play a top knock in this match if IND wants to win this match.

-Shreyas Iyer

will bat at two down. He is another young talent who is in form of his life as he is playing very consistent cricket as seen in the last couple of series and in domestic cricket too. He is having Average of 49 from just 17 ODI matches with a good strike rate too. Must have a pick in SL especially if IND opts to bat first. Played match-winning knocks in the last series. Smashed 103 & 52 runs in the last two matches and expected to see another good knock in this match too.

-Prithvi Shaw

made his ODI debut with this series. He will open the innings with Mayank. Though he is only 20 years old but his skills are off another level as he had performed really well in FC & List A career. Performed well in international test & T20 series too. Good Punt in SL and best C VC pick in GL. Got the good start in both last matches but departs at only 20 & 24 runs.

-Mayank Agarwal

will open the innings. He is another top-class batsman who had performed really well in test cricket last year. He too has made his ODI debut with this series. Played relay well in List A cricket with an average of 50.1 in 82 matches at a strike rate of more than 100. Good pick in SL especially if IND opts to bat 2nd. Though failed to play any good knock in the last two matches but expected to perform better today.

-Manish Pandey

will bat in the middle order. He is another good batsman who had performed really well last year in domestic cricket and played a responsible inning in the last T20 series too. He is having an average of 34.6 from 25 ODI matches with a strike rate of more than 90. Good punt in SL if IND opts to bat first.

-Martin Guptill

is an experienced batsman who will open the innings for NZ. He had played 181 ODI matches at an average of 42 with strike rate nearing 100. He is an attacking batsman who will either play a good knock or gets out early. Though he had failed to perform well in ODI cricket last year but his decent form of this year makes him a good pick in SL. Scored 32 & 79 runs in the last two matches.

-Henry Nicholls

will open the innings. The best choice of C VC today in Mini GL as he can be very good especially if NZ opts to bat 2nd considering his average of 35.4 in just 47 ODI matches with good SR too. Must have a pick in SL if the credit problem arises as he is available in only 8.5 credits. Played decent knocks in the last 5 ODI matches too. Played good knock of 78 & 41 runs in the last two matches.

-Ross Taylor

will bat at two down. He had been more consistent in this format. He is having an average of 48.9 from 230 ODI matches with a decent strike rate too. He is a reliable batsman who usually scores 30-40 runs easily. Must have a pick in SL. He is having a good ODI record against India too. Played match-winning knock in the last two matches by scoring 109* & 73 runs.

-Kane Williamson

is expected to play this match. He is an impressive batsman who will bat at one down. He is having an Average of 47.9 from 149 ODI matches with a decent strike rate. Performed really well in the last T20 series too. Expected to see a good knock in this last match of series. Good C VC pick in GL today.

 All Rounder-

-Colin de Grandhomme

will do the late hitting and bowl a couple of overs too. He is an impressive all-rounder who had been very consistent from the last couple of years. He had batted at an average of 25.6 and taken 27 wickets too from 40 ODI International matches. Another good pick in SL and C VC choice. Though failed to perform well in the last series and in the last two matches too with the bat but got three wickets.

-Ravindra Jadeja

is another must-have pick especially if IND opts to bat first as he will do the late hitting and bowl full 10 overs too. He is in good form right now as seen in the last couple of series. He had played 164 games and taken 186 wickets from them, batted at an average of 31.8 too. Punt C VC choice as he is taking wickets consistently. Performed really well in the last match by scoring 55 runs and taking a wicket.
~

-James Neesham

will bat in middle order and bowl at least 5-6 overs too. He is an impressive batsman who is having an average of 30 in 61 matches and taken 60 wickets too at an economy rate of 6.14 only. Must have a pick in SL especially if NZ opts to bat first as Than he will surely contribute with both of his skills. Though failed to perform well in the last two matches as he had but expected to see at least decent performance in this match.

 Bowler-

-Shardul Thakur

is a good bowler who had bowled well from the time of his debut last year. Though he had played only 10 matches but taken 11 wickets from them at an economy rate of less than 6. He had performed well in List A & FC career too. Good credit saver punt in SL. He had taken wickets consistently in last T20 series too. Got three-wicket in the last two matches but gave many runs.

-Jasprit Bumrah

is a must-have pick in SL and punt C VC choice too. He is currently one of the top bowlers in international cricket. He had taken 104 wickets from just 63 matches at an economy rate of 4.54 only. His yorkers are very tough to play. Bowled well in the last two matches but unfortunately gone wicketless.

-Yuzvendra Chahal

is a wicket-taker bowler who had taken wickets for IND especially at crucial stages. He had taken 88 wickets from 51 ODI matches at an economy rate of 5.08 only. Must have a pick in SL who is expected to take a couple of wickets in this match too like he did in the last match by taking 3fer.

-Navdeep Saini

is a decent bowler who can be very lethal on his day. Though he doesn't have much experience of playing international cricket but he had performed well in FC & List A cricket. Good punt in SL who can bat too if required like we saw in the last match where he scored 45 runs.

-Tim Southee

is another impressive bowler who had taken 190 wickets from 142 ODI International matches at an economy rate of 3.01. Must have picked if NZ opts to bat first. Though failed in the last series but got 2fer in both in last matches.

-Hamish Bennett

is a decent bowler who had taken 29 wickets from 18 ODI matches at an economy rate of 5.45 only. He isn't a very consistent bowler but can emerge out as good punt in SL. Gone wicketless in the first match and gave many runs too but took 2fer in the last game by maintaining his economy rate.

C VC  Choices-
+Virat Kohli
+KL Rahul
+Shreyas Iyer
+Ross Taylor
+Tom Latham
+Kane Williamson
-Virat Kohli and Kane Williamson are the two safe choices of C VC.
-KL Rahul and Ross Taylor can be seen as the other default C VC in SL today.
-Shreyas Iyer and Tom Latham are the best punt C VC choices in GL.

 Key Players:

 IND Key Players:

 Virat Kohli:
The ever-consistent Virat Kohli has not scored an ODI century for quite some time. Although the game is a dead-rubber, the right-handed batsman would eager to finish the series on a high. In India’s previous series in New Zealand scored 43 and 60 runs in two innings in Bay Oval. A big knock off Kohli’s bat might be around the corner.

 KL Rahul:
KL Rahul has been in good in recent times. Even though he failed in the second ODI, we recommend you to select in him your fantasy team, particularly if India bat first.

 Yuzi:
The leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal snared three scalps in Auckland and his selection percentage in Dream11 for this game is higher than it was in the last match. Chahal has picked up four wickets on this ground and would look to carry on from where he left.

 NZ Key Players:

 Kane Williamson:
Kane Williamson who is expected to be back for the last ODI is a good batsman to bank on. The Kiwi skipper is a consistent batsman, thus, becomes a top pick for this game.

 Ross Taylor:
Ross Taylor in Bay Oval in ODIs:
Innings: 6
Runs: 330
Average: 55
S/R: 90.16
50s: 04

 Martin Guptil:
Martin Guptil in Bay Oval in ODIs:
Innings: 8
Runs: 347
Average: 43.37
S/R: 79.04
50s: 1
100s:2

 Kyle Jamieson:
Kyle Jamieson who was quite impressive on his ODI debut is a value pick for your fantasy side.

 Team Forms:

 India:

Indian team morale is down but we hope our team will win this match.

Shreyas Iyer scored 103 at Seddon Park, while Virat Kohli (51) and KL Rahul (88*) also contributed to a score of 347/4 last time out, but they were unable to defend it despite some late wickets as they fell to a four-wicket loss and also the last match was not good for team India we hope India will bounce back.

 New Zealand:

This series is New Zealand’s first set of ODI matches since the World Cup final at Lord’s, where they lost in a super-over to England. They immediately set about rebuilding, with Ross Taylor’s unbeaten century in a total of 348/6 helping them to a four-wicket win – their highest ever successful chase. Henry Nicholls (78) and Tom Latham (69) also played key roles in that Ist ODI chase.

 SQUAD:
 INDIA:
Virat Kohli (c), Lokesh Rahul (wk), Prithvi Shaw, Mayank Agarwal, Shreyas Iyer, Kedar Jadhav, Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur, Navdeep Saini, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah, Manish Pandey, Mohammed Shami, Kuldeep Yadav, Rishabh Pant, Shivam Dube

 NEW ZEALAND:
Kane Williamson (c), Tom Latham (wk), Martin Guptill, Henry Nicholls, Ross Taylor, Tom Blundell, James Neesham, Colin de Grandhomme, Mark Chapman, Tim Southee, Kyle Jamieson, Hamish Bennett, Mitchell Santner, Ish Sodhi, Blair Tickner, Scott Kuggeleijn.
