JOZ vs CTB Toss Prediction
Eight of the last twelve T20 internationals played at this ground have been won by the side batting second. Since the pitch is expected to remain good for batting throughout the game, the team that wins the toss here will probably prefer to chase.
JOZ vs CTB Weather Report
Pleasant weather with partly cloudy skies has been forecast for Thursday. Temperature is expected to be around 19-20 degrees Celsius and humidity between 69% and 74%.
JOZ vs CTB Pitch Condition
The Newlands has produced some big totals in recent times in the game's shortest format. So one can expect the pitch to be more batsman-friendly on Thursday. 149 is the average first-innings score here in T20 internationals.
Team NEWS:
JOZ Team News
Jozi Stars made a couple of changes to their side in the last match against Nelson Mandela Bay Giants - they dropped Nono Pongolo and Duanne Olivier to make room for Delano Potgieter and Aaron Phangiso. The latter had a pretty good outing with the ball and is likely to be retained for Thursday's encounter. Despite coming off a defeat, Jozi Stars could go into this game with an unchanged line-up.

CTB Team News
Cape Town Blitz will have to make a change in their line-up for this upcoming match against Jozi Stars. England all-rounder Moeen Ali, who had joined the team for the first two matches, will now be unavailable and will be replaced with Pakistan's Wahab Riaz. Wahab's inclusion will further bolster the team's pace bowling department. With the departure of Moeen Ali, the Blitz are likely to promote Liam Livingstone to number three.

Key Players:
CTB Key Players:
Quinton de Kock:
The left-handed South African opening batsman has loads of international experience and has hit four half-centuries in T20Is. de Kock looked in good touch in his innings of 35 in the reverse encounter at Johannesburg.
Janneman Malan:
He has scored the most runs for Cape Town Blitz so far in this MSL season - 111 runs in two matches. The opener blitzed an unbeaten 99 off 59 balls in the opening match of the tournament against Jozi Stars. He will be expected to play a similar knock when the two teams clash again on Thursday.
Dale Steyn:
The veteran quick snared three scalps against Jozi Stars in the tournament opener and he could cause problems for them again. Steyn will be leading Cape Town's bowling attack alongside Vernon Philander and the onus will be on him to take early wickets.
JOZ Key Players:
Chris Gayle:
He may be at the cusp of retirement from international cricket, but he is still regarded as one of the most feared batsmen in the world. On his day, the West Indian swashbuckling opener can tear apart any bowling attack and win the game single-handedly.
Kagiso Rabada:
His express pace makes him a serious threat with the ball irrespective of the conditions. Rabada was a bit expensive in the first match but he bounced back in the last match and returned impressive figures of 2-27 from four overs.
Reeza Hendricks:
He seems to be going through splendid form and is going to be the key man for Jozi Stars at the top of the order. The opener cracked 80 in the first match against Cape Town Blitz and 62 last time out against Nelson Mandela Bay Giants.
JOZ vs CTB Dream11 Prediction:
Wicketkeeper
Initially, We have picked Cape Town Blitz's Quinton de Kock instead of Jozi Stars' Ryan Rickelton as the wicketkeeper in our Dream11 team. Quinton de Kock opens the batting for his team while Ryan Rickelton is a middle-order batsman. de Kock is available for 10.5 credits.
Batsmen
Reeza Hendricks has shown terrific form in both the matches and is a must have in the side at 9 credits. Chris Gayle is available for 10 credits and he can be really destructive on his day. We have also included Temba Bavuma and Janneman Malan at 8.5 credits.
All-rounders
Our Dream11 team consists of a couple of allrounders - George Linde and Daniel Christian. Linde took three wickets against Paarl Rocks and the left-arm spinner can be picked for 8.5 credits. Daniel Christian is capable of making healthy contributions with both bat and ball and he has been priced at 9 credits.
Bowlers
~
We have picked three bowlers from Cape Town Blitz - Sisanda Magala, Dale Steyn and Anrich Nortje. Dale Steyn is available for 9.5 credits while Sisanda Magala and Anrich Nortje are both priced at 8.5. Apart from these three, we have also picked one bowler from Jozi Stars - Kagiso Rabada at 9.5 credits.
Captain
We have picked Quinton de Kock as the captain of our Dream11 team.
Vice-captain
We have picked Reeza Hendricks as the vice-captain of our Dream11 team.
Team Forms:
JOZI STARS:
Jozi Stars finished second on the points table last year and went all the way to win the inaugural edition of the Mzansi Super league. This year, however, they have not started off too well and have faced defeats in their opening two games. They are currently lying at the bottom of the leaderboard and are the only team who are yet to register a win this season. The Stars, after their loss to Cape Town Blitz, were outplayed by Nelson Mandela Bay Giants in their last match at Port Elizabeth.
Cape Town Blitz:
Cape Town Blitz finished runners-up in the previous season after losing to Jozi Stars in the final. They are currently placed third on the MSL 2019 points table with a win and a loss from their first two matches. They made a positive start to their campaign, beating Jozi Stars by 15 runs in the tournament opener at Johannesburg. The Blitz, however, suffered a heavy 86-run defeat at the hands of Paarl Rocks in their last match at the Boland Park.
