PS-W vs MR-W Toss Prediction
Melbourne Renegades won the toss when these teams last met so Perth are due this one and may look to field first having on the only match in which they have bowled first so far.
PS-W vs MR-W Weather Report
Showers are forecast all day in Perth, although the chance of rain is given at 32 per cent in the late afternoon so there is a chance it may clear for the game. With winds around 21mph and overcast conditions, this is a day for the swing bowlers.
PS-W vs MR-W Pitch Condition
The WACA Ground is well known for its fast, super bouncy wickets. With the wind conditions too, it makes it an excellent place for bowling – but combine the pace of the pitch with a fast outfield, and it can also suit quick scoring.

Team NEWS:
PS-W Team News
Perth Scorchers made their first change last time out – Taneale Peschel replacing Emma King. She was wicketless, however, and the pace of the WACA pitch may mean a recall for Kath Hempenstall this time. Chloe Piparo has batted just once and scored three runs so her place could be in danger too.
MR-W Team News
MR-W Team News
Melbourne Renegades have stuck with the same 11 for all four games so far and despite a narrow defeat last time out – after a top-order collapse – they are unlikely to be rushing into changes for this game.

Key Players:
PS-W Key Players:
Nat Sciver:Scored an unbeaten half-century when these teams last met and was one of the few Scorchers batsmen to score against Adelaide Strikers last time out too. She has been dismissed just once in three innings, scoring 93 runs so far.
Amy Jones:
Opened the tournament with 44 in the defeat to the Renegades and then hit 60* in the dominant nine-wicket win against Brisbane Heat. The England wicket-keeper-batsmen is getting back to her best form.
Kim Garth:
The Irish all-rounder should find conditions at the WACA suit her, and she goes into the game having claimed five wickets in three matches so far.
MR-W Key Players:
Danni Wyatt:Top-scored in both of the Renegades’ wins so far – hitting 61 against Adelaide Strikers and 31 against the Scorchers. She has also claimed two wickets with her off-spin bowling.
Jess Duffin:
The Renegades’ captain and hugely experienced former Australia international has led from the front with some consistent batting performances so far – she has hit 156 runs so far, including 69 against the Thunder last time out.
Maitlan Brown:
The uncapped medium-pace bowler was wicketless when these teams last met, but she has picked up seven wickets from the other three matches she has played – including 3-22 last time out against Sydney Thunder.
PS-W vs BH-W Dream11 Prediction:
Wicket-keeper
Amy Jones has picked up where she left off with some excellent batting form so far and, at 9.5 credits, she still represents good value given how important she is to the Scorchers up the order.
Batsmen
Meg Lanning will be alongside Jones at the top of the order and the Australia captain can never be written off – but at 10.5 credits, and with one good innings out of three so far, she is a gamble and there may be better options. Given her good batting form so far, Jess Duffin is one of those at just 8.5 credits. Nicole Bolton top-scored for the Scorchers last time out, meanwhile, and you can also pick up England international Tammy Beaumont for 9.5 credits too.
All-rounders
Leaving Lanning out gives plenty of choice in the all-round department too, though you have to decide between the top all-rounders and the top bowlers. You might not be able to afford both. If you go for the all-rounders, Danni Wyatt has two wickets to her name so far and has top-scored in both of the Renegades wins. Team-mate Sophie Molineux was back to her best with the ball last time out, meanwhile, taking three wickets. She will be at the top of the batting order too. For the Scorchers, Nat Sciver hit a half-century when these teams last met, while Kim Garth has five wickets in three games and is excellent value at 8.5 credits. That does mean you have to leave out Heather Graham, however, who was the top wicket-taker in WBBL|04.
Bowlers
~
Opting for the top all-rounders means Lea Tahuhu and Molly Strano are realistically now out of your price range. Maitlan Brown has seven wickets, however, and she is 8.5 credits so good value too. Jemma Barsby started the tournament with two wickets in each of the Scorchers’ first two games and she is good value at 8.5 credits too. There are five bowlers listed at eight credits, but of those only Taneale Peschel has played so far – and she was wicketless. A fast WACA wicket could suit Kath Hempenstall, however – it’s a gamble, but it is well worth it should it pay off.
Captain/vice-captain
Danni Wyatt has started the tournament in good form, particularly with the bat, while her two wickets across the last two games show she is a genuine all-rounder too. She would make a good captain choice. For the Scorchers, Kim Garth has five wickets in three games and a faster pitch should suit the Irish international. Between her and in-form Maitlan Brown there are good bowling choices for vice-captain
Team Forms:
PS-W Team Form
The Scorchers have won one of their three games so far, beating Brisbane Heat by nine wickets thanks to Amy Jones and Meg Lanning hitting half-centuries, in between defeats to Melbourne Renegades and Adelaide Strikers.Against the Renegades, Jones (44) and Nat Sciver (55*) were in good batting form but their total of 132/5 was not quite enough as they slipped to a four-wicket defeat. After bouncing back against Brisbane, chasing 147 to win in 18.2 overs, they then fell well short against Adelaide Strikers. Nicole Bolton hit 41 but a total of 115/9 was well below par and the Strikers needed just 14.4 overs to seal a seven-wicket win.
MR-W Recent Team Form
Melbourne Renegades bounced back from an opening defeat to Adelaide Strikers by beating the same opponents in their second game and then the Perth Scorchers. They could not make it three wins in a row last time out, however – chasing 133 to win after Sophie Molineux and Maitlan Brown each claimed three wickets, the Renegades came up just short on 129/8. Jess Duffin hit 69 from 56 balls bit was caught off the final ball.SQUAD:
