PS-W Won 04Info:
- Defending champions Brisbane Heat will be looking to bounce back after losing to Sydney Thunder last time out - leaving them with one win and one loss so far.
- They bowled Sydney Sixers out for 73 to win their opening game, but failed to defend 150/9 last time out against the Thunder.
- Perth Scorchers have played just once, meanwhile - Natalie Sciver hit an unbeaten half-century but their total of 132/5 proved too little in a four-wicket defeat to Melbourne Renegades.

PS-W vs BH-W Toss Prediction
Having lost the toss in their opening game, Perth Scorchers will want to win this one – particularly if the pitch proves as batsman-friendly as in previous games at the ground.
PS-W vs BH-W Weather Report
With temperatures in the mid-20s and zero chance of rain, conditions in sunny Brisbane will be ideal for cricket.
PS-W vs BH-W Pitch Condition
This will be the second game in the day played at Allan Border Field, but previous first class matches at the ground suggest there will be no deterioration.

Team NEWS:
PS-W Team News
Perth Scorchers may need a re-think after losing their opening game. All-rounder Kim Garth did not bat, but the Irish ace has been in good bowling form more recently anyway and did open the bowling. Chloe Piparo played no part in the game, however, and with Garth among the middle-order batting options, it may be worth turning to Kath Hempenstall as an extra bowling option instead.

BH-W Team News
Brisbane Heat have fielded the same XI for both games so far and, despite defeat last time out, they may keep the faith again. Only Georgia Prestwidge has failed to make her mark in either game so far.

Key Players:
PS-W Key Players:
Meg Lanning:The captain fell cheaply last time out, but her form last year – scoring five half-centuries in nine matches – shows exactly what she can bring with the bat at the top of the order.
Amy Jones:
The England wicket-keeper-batsman hit 44 from 37 balls in a useful partnership with Sciver, picking up where she left off the last time she batted for the Scorchers.
Heather Graham:
Wicketless in the opening game, but her tidy 0-26 from four overs kept the pressure on. She was the leading wicket-taker in WBBL|04, with 22 in 14 matches for the Scorchers.
BH-W Key Players:
Beth Mooney:Arrived at this tournament on the back of her excellent form for Australia, and opened with a half-century against the Sixers and 35 against the Thunder to prove she is still in great batting touch.
Jess Jonassen:
Australia’s spin-bowling all-rounder took 2-12 to help bowl Brisbane to victory in the opening game, while it was her batting which impressed last time out – scoring 42.
Amelia Kerr:
Just turned 19, the New Zealand leggie continues to impress at all levels. She took 3-8 in the opening game, having previously taken six wickets in the IPL Women’s T20 Challenge series in her most recent T20 franchise outing.
PS-W vs BH-W Dream11 Prediction:
Wicket-keeper
It is difficult balancing act with these teams to pick a good line-up but without spending too many credits. Wicket-keeper is a classic case. Beth Mooney is in excellent form but costs 10.5 credits, while Amy Jones started well and is 9.5 credits. Realistically, you may only be able to pick one.
Batsmen
Onto the batting, and after Meg Lanning fell short in the opening game could she be too big a risk at 10.5 credits? If you have picked Mooney already, probably. If you went for Jones, you have credits in reserve now. Further down the price list, Nicole Bolton is 9.5 credits for the Scorchers, while Brisbane captain Kirby Short is up the order and could be good value at 8.5 credits. Laura Harris scored her runs down the order last time out, but at 8.5 credits could again be worth a punt.
All-rounders
~
As for the all-rounders, Jess Jonassen shone in the first game with the ball and in the second with the bat – so that is one spot sealed. Nat Sciver costs ten credits but started the tournament with an unbeaten half-century last time out so she too is worth the punt. That may price Grace Harris and Sammy-Jo Johnson out, however. If that’s the case, Kim Garth is good value at 8.5 credits considering she opened the bowling for the Scorchers last time out.

Bowlers
Piepa Clearly and Jemma Barsby each took two wickets last time out and cost 8.5 credits apiece for the Scorchers. That is good value, as Barsby prepares to face her former team. The other picks depend on your other selections, but if you can afford both then Aussie international Delissa Kimmince and New Zealand’s teenage sensation Amelia Kerr are both worthwhile picks at nine credits each.
Captain/Vice-captain
Nat Sciver justified being marked as a potential captain pick before the Scorchers first game with an unbeaten half-century, though she was not called upon to bowl. Nicole Bolton was, however, and bats up the order too which makes her a good potential option. Vice-captain may be better, however. For captain, Beth Mooney’s batting deserves consideration and she has two wickets behind the stumps too.
Team Forms:
PS-W Team Form
Perth Scorchers were the final team to get their WBBL|05 campaign underway, but they could not open with a win. Amy Jones (44) and Nat Sciver (55*) shared a 76-run partnership but the Scorchers could only post 132/5. In reply, Piepa Cleary and Jemma Barsby took two wickets apiece but could not prevent a four-wicket defeat.BH-W Recent Team Form

After Beth Mooney’s half-century helped them to 165/6, Amelia Kerr took 3-8 and Jess Jonassen, Sammy-Jo Johnson and Grace Harris all took two wickets apiece to bowl the Sixers out for 73.They lost last time out, however.
