GUY vs SLZ Head to Head Stats
Matches Played 12
SLZ Won 4
GUY Won 8Info:
- Unbeaten league leaders Guyana Amazon Warriors go in search of a seventh consecutive win as they turn their attention towards building some play-off momentum.
- St Lucia Zouks got back to winning ways last time out - their first home win so far - as they beat St Kitts & Nevis Patriots by 20 runs to stay firmly in play-off contention.
- They have already lost to the Warriors this year, however - it was victory against the Zouks in their first game of the 2019 CPL that kick-started their superb run of wins.
GUY vs SLZ Toss Prediction
St Lucia Zouks have lost the toss in their last two home games but were asked to bat first and did not seem to have any qualms about that. Perhaps they will do the same thing if they win the toss this time.
GUY vs SLZ Weather Report
Another clear evening after a hot, sunny St Lucia day awaits. There is an extremely low chance of rain forecast and with not too much wind either it should be a hot evening.
GUY vs SLZ Pitch Condition
St Lucia’s flat, fast wickets have served up some even contests so far, with something in them for the pacemen and spinners too so far. It has generally been well balanced in the three games at Gros Islet so far.

GUY Team News
Romario Shepherd returned in place of Qais Ahmad last time out and again bowled well. Ahmad could return this time, however, with Odean Smith potentially the man to miss out, if the Warriors want to get their in-form spinner back in their ranks.

Jeavor Royal has played the last two matches with Obed McCoy out injured. Royal took 1-30 from his first T20 bowling spell last time out ,and may continue ahead of Krishmar Santokie if McCoy is still ruled out. John Campbell’s return to the team was brief, meanwhile – Andre McCarthy replaced him last time out and the Zouks could be unchanged from that win.

Key Players:
GUY Key Players:
Brandon King:
The uncapped opening batsmen hit his second consecutive half-century at the top of the order last time out. His unbeaten 51 means he has scored 49, 59 and 51* in his last three innings.
Shoaib Malik:
The captain has already batted well in CPL 2019 season – he scored 67* in the win against Jamaica Tallawahs, for example, and then added some excellent bowling to that too, by claiming 1-10 from four overs last time out.
Imran Tahir:
One of the best late replacements the Warriors could possibly have hoped for, when he was drafted in to replace Shadab Khan. He has taken two wickets in each of the three matches since, bowling economically along the way with figures of 2-17, 2-21 and 2-22.
SLZ Key Players:
Colin Ingram:
Could not kick on from his rain-halted unbeaten half-century against Trinbago Knight Riders, but he still made a decent start last time out and will want to build on his decent form going into the final few games.
Andre Fletcher:
Inconsistent with the bat but he top-scored last time out, getting the Zouks off to a brilliant start as he hit 36 from 23 balls. On his day, he is a top-quality, big-hitting opening batsman in T20 cricket.
Fawad Ahmed:
Moved to eight wickets in this year’s tournament when he claimed 2-19 with his leg spin last time out. While he was outshone by Hardus Viljoen, the former Aussie international has been the most consistent bowler in this attack.~
