BIJ vs MW Weather Report

Mysuru Warriors could end up cursing the weather again with a good chance of rain forecast and thunderstorms on the Bangalore radar again too.

BIJ vs MW Pitch Condition

After a slight break with tradition, the Bangalore pitch – though still offering more to the bowlers in the past – has behaved a little more as expected in the latest fixtures. Nevertheless, on a well-used wicket a score of 160 will give the bowlers something to defend.

Team News -

Mysuru Warriors -

- They could not open their winning account after three matches. Their first and previous match have been abandoned due to rain while they lost the second match against Shivamogga Lions by 14 runs.

- They started very well in batting in the previous match and scored 82/1 in 11 overs before rain. K Siddharth also batted very well in the previous match and was playing at unbeaten 49 runs at the time of play stop. Skipper Amit Verma was also batting good at this time and scored unbeaten 23 runs that time.

- They bowled out for only 152 runs in the second innings while they were given a target of 167 runs to win. K Siddharth batted very well and registered a brilliant half century with scored 77 runs off just 54 delivery. He also picked one wicket in this match with his good medium pace.

- Except K Siddharth (77), none of any batsman of the Warriors showed their determination in batting which was really a concern for them. However, A Joshi (26) and Skipper Amith Verma (14) got their start but failed to convert into a big knock.

- In bowling, V Vijay Kumar picked two while Davaiah, A Joshi, P Venkatesh Murthy and K Siddharth picked one wicket each.

- Dega Nischal and K Siddharth will open the batting. Dega Nischal is a very good batsman but could not play any remarkable innings in this tournament yet and scored 4 and 0 in the last two innings.

- K Siddharth batted very good in the previous match and has registered a brilliant half century in the second with scored 77 runs and also batted very good in the previous match and scored unbeaten 49 runs before rain. He is a good medium pacer and picked one wicket in the second match.

- Skipper Amith Verma will bat at No 03. He is a good all rounder and looked solid with bat in the previous match and scored unbeaten 23 runs before the rain came. He scored 23* and 14 runs in the last two innings. He is a good leg spinner as well.

- Shoib Manager will bat at No 04. He is a very good batsman and made much impact in the last KPL season for Bellary Tuskers but he is waiting to open his run account in this tournament. He got chance to bat in only second match but he got out for duck.

- A Joshi will bat at No 05. He is a very destructive batsman and has very healthy strike rate of around 150 in the T20 format. He got chance to bat in the second match and batted good with scored 26 runs. He is a good off spinner and picked one wicket in the second match.

- K Bedare will bat at No 06. He is a good middle order batsman and able to play a good innings . Although, he has to proof himself in this season yet.

- Skipper J Suchith will bat at No 07. He is also a very good all rounder and also a good leg spinner as well. He bowled very exceptional in the first match and picked three wickets but could not pick any wicket in the second match. Bijapur Bulls -

- They are also waiting for their first victory in this tournament yet. Their first match was tied while they lost the previous against Bellary Tuskers by 7 wickets.

- They batted very good in the previous match and putted a very good total of 162/7 in the first innings but their bowlers could not defend it.

- Raju Bhatkal and Star Opener B Chipli batted very good in this match and registered their brilliant half centuries with scored 62 and 50 runs respectively and helped to put up a handy total on the score board.

- Their bowling attack was so poor in this match and picked only three wickets of opponent. Their mostly bowlers likes of SL Akshay, KC Cariaapa and S Raju leaked plenty of runs which is a serious concern for them. P Jain, S Raju and Naveen MG picked one wickets each.

- They did not bat very well in the opening match and putted a very average total of 133/6 in the first innings. None of any batsman was able to play a handy knock.

- However, mostly batsmen likes of B Chipli (39), Swapnil Selave (31), Raju Bhatkal (20) and Suneel Raju (15) got their start but could not capitalise into a big knock.

- They should be very thankful to rain that provided one point for them. rain came in the match in the second innings when Bengaluru were 29/1 in 5 overs. Hence, the match was declared tied as per VJD method. The only wicket of Bengaluru was fallen in form of run out.

- B Chipli and G Naveen will open the batting. B Chipli is a very attacking batsman and registered a brilliant half century in the previous match with scored 50 runs . He batted solid in the opening match with 39 runs.

- Suneel Raju will bat at No 05. He is a very good all rounder but did not bat good yet in this tournament and scored 14 and 15 runs in the last two innings. He is a good off spinner and picked one wicket in the last match.

- N Bhareth will bat at No 06. He is a good all rounder and might be very useful in the lower middle order but failed to bat in first two matches. He is a very good medium pacer as well.

- Swapnil Yelave will bat at No 06. He is a very good batsman and batted very good in the opening match with scored 31 runs.

- KC Cariappa will bat at No 08. He is originally a good leg spinner but can bat nicely in lower order.

- Prateek Jain, N Bhareth, G Naveen and SL Akshay will lead the pace attack. G Naveen and P Jain picked one wicket each in the last match.
