- They came back very good in the second match against Ruby Trichy Warriors and Won the match by 41 runs.
- Their batsmen displayed very good show in batting and putted a good total of 148/6 in the first innings. Harish Kumar was the top scorer for the Gillies with scored 39 runs while K Gopinath and G Sridhar Raju scored 37 and 29 runs respectively.
- Their bowler did really great job in the both matches. Especially, R Alexander made much impact in the both matches and picked three in the first and five in second match i.e he picked total eight wickets in the two matches.
- Skipper K Gandhi and G Sridhar Raju are expected to open the batting . Both are very good and attacking batsmen but K Gandhi failed to score in the both matches while G Sridhar Raju scored 29 runs in the previous match.
- Gopinath will bat at No 03. He is also a very talented player and able to play a big knock. He was very solid with bat in the previous match and scored 37 runs.
- Wicket Keeper A Aarif will bat at No 04. He is a good batsman and can hit the ball over the rope successfully.
- U Sasidev and Murugan Ashwin will bat at No 05 and 06. U Sasidev is a very good middle order batsman and a useful spinner as well. M Ashwin is a talented spinner and useful batsman.
- Harish Kumar and M Siddharth will bat next at No 07 and 08. Harish Kumar is good all rounder and top scorer of the last match with scored 39 runs. He is a good medium pacer too. M Siddharth is also a good lower order batter and good spinner as well.
- D Rahul, Harish Kumar and G Periyaswamy will lead the pace attack. G Periyaswamy picked two wickets in the last match.
- M Siddharth, R Alexander and Murugan Ashwin will lead the spin attack. R Alexander picked eight wickets in the two matches.

- They lost the previous match against VB Kanchi Veerans by 110 runs.
- They performed very worst in batting and bowled out for only 67 runs while thew were given a target of 178 runs to win.
- Only Three batsmen namely A Aditya (10_), L Suryaprakash (12) and Shajahan (12) scored in double digit which is really a concern for them.
- Their batting is mostly dependent on skipper S Aniruddha who is a very good batsman.
